4 Slice Simply Proof & Bake Italian Bread Dough
1 C Culinary Solutions Sweet Eggspedites™ Liquid
1 C Ricotta Cheese, Drained
1/4 C Powdered Sugar
1/2 tsp. Amaretto Liqueur
1/3 C Mini Chocolate Chips
2 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
1 tsp. Powdered Sugar
1 tbsp. Toasted Pistachios, Chopped
1 1/2 tbsp. Chocolate Sauce

Thaw, proof, and bake the Italian Bread Dough according to the case instructions. After the bread has cooled, cut the loaf into uniform 3/4-inch slices.

In a small bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, and amaretto. Stir in the mini chocolate chips.

Spread 2 slices of the bread with the ricotta mixture, about 1/3 cup per slice. Place the other slices of bread on top and gently press them together. Carefully dip both sides of each sandwich into the Sweet Eggspedites® until well coated.

Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the French toast sandwiches and cook until golden, about 4 minutes per side. Cut the sandwiches in half on the diagonal and transfer to plates. Dust with powdered sugar, sprinkle on the chopped pistachios, and then drizzle with chocolate sauce. Serve immediately.
